Sept 30th – Oct 6th. Week of Prayer – ‘The Flame of the Spirit – Holiness’
The theme for The Prayer Week is ‘The Flame of the Spirit – Holiness’. We believe God is calling us as individuals and as a church to be Holy. This requires us to seek Christ for ourselves and to allow the Holy Spirit to speak to us as to how He wants to transform us into the likeness of Christ. The Holy Spirit is described as Fire at times in the Bible, and we need His purifying Spirit to cleanse us and make us more like Jesus. I would encourage you to come and visit the Emmanuel Centre in Ditchling and take some time out of your busy lives to meet with God.Please look at the schedule and come along to spend time for yourself in prayer, or alternatively join one of the activities that is happening during the week. A diary of what’s on is here http://thepointchurch.co.uk/prayer-week/
