The Point at Six
The Point at Six has had some amazing times of worship, teaching and ministry since launching ten weeks ago and we are seeing the characteristics of freedom, intimacy and encounter develop.  Join us each Sunday evening at 6pm in the Emmanuel Centre in Ditchling for extended worship, bible teaching and prayer.  This week Simon will be teaching on ‘Encountering Spiritual Growth’. Come and press in to God as we pursue freedom, intimacy and encounter with our very present and faithful God.

Kenya Fundraising – auction prizes needed
On Sunday 14th April we will be auctioning our first few items during the 10:30 service.  Further items will be auctioned at the various Kenya fundraising events planned over the next few months.  However, we need more auction and raffle items.  Possible offerings are gardening, car cleaning, house cleaning, baby sitting, music lessons, weekends away, dinner parties, tech equipment.  Also, ask your workplaces to see if they can give anything for either the auction or raffle.  If you are able to offer anything to help the Kenya team raise funds for their mission trip this summer, please email John O’Connor at johnoconn44@gmail.com this weekKenya Info.pdf

 AGM 2019
The AGM this year is immediately after our morning service on Sunday 28 April (12noon – 1.15pm). It is an important meeting for the whole church, and a wonderful opportunity to give thanks for all that God is doing amongst us. We will hear reports on church life, Finances, Safeguarding and appoint our new board of trustees by electing 4 new members of the team. You can find all the information you need in order to join the electoral roll of our church HERE. You need to do this in order to be a member and vote for our board of trustees at the AGM. You can find out more about the duties of our trustees and the election process by reading the documents on this page. If you wish to stand for election, or nominate someone else, the nomination form is also available here.

Please do pray for our trustees as they seek to lead the church with wisdom, faith and unity.

A new Alpha course will be starting on Thursday 9th May at 7:30pm at Rob & Jo Glew’s house in Bolney.  The course will run every Thursday evening until 11th July.  Wallet sized invitation cards are available at the Info Point on Sunday mornings and from the Hospitality team on Sunday evenings.  Do think, pray and invite a friend.  The worst that can happen is they say no.  At the very least, they will be fed like kings and queens.  But we pray that they will also encounter Jesus and start a new life in relationship with our creator God, loving Christ and empowering Holy Spirit.  Think – Pray – Share.
